Intro

Nike’s Arabic experience is not just a translation of English screens. It’s a complete user experience that must reflect performance, confidence, and brand trust. As an Arabic designer working on Nike, my responsibility was to ensure Arabic users across the region experienced the same clarity, speed, and emotional impact as English users.

By treating Arabic as a first-class experience, not a localized afterthought. We were able to improve usability and drive a significant measurable business impact.

Outcomes & Impact

+10% increase in conversion rate across Arabic apps in 2025
✅ Improved readability, trust, and consistency
✅ Fast, low-cost implementation with high ROI

My Approach & Process

  1. Review the English designs

  2. Typography & spacing analysis (Arabic vs English) or Arabic UX Audit according to the goal

  3. Font pairing refinement (Link English font with the Arabic font system)

  4. RTL layout tuning (component system updates)

  5. Arabic content review (Text and Image)

  6. Dev collaboration to provide the Arabic correctly

  7. Business/Product communications for enhancements and bug fixes approvals

Why It Works

Because consistent typography directly builds trust, reduces friction, and makes global brands feel local.
